Angela McRae has 30 years experience as a Visual Merchandiser. Angela originally completed her training in New Zealand as a window dresser in a large Department store. She moved to Australia to obtain a position as a display junior for Grace Bros, East Row. She worked her way up the company ladder to become Visual Merchandising Manager of a store within that Company.
Angela established her own company “Displays by Angela” in 1987 and has been operating successfully for over 26 years. Her business has grown and has become very well known and respected.
Whilst running her business, Angela was also a tutor at the C.I.T part time for the design students, teaching Visual Merchandising.
Angela specializes in providing tailored services for both large companies and small businesses. She prides herself on meeting her client’s needs within their budget and producing high quality Visual Merchandising within the Canberra region.
Carlie Smith has worked as a casual for ‘Displays by Angela’ assisting with Christmas installations since 2011.
She has now come on board as a Visual Merchandiser after working for many years in event management, administration and digital media for various companies.
She pursued her passion in a diploma of fine arts in Wollongong as well as a diploma in design, majoring in sculpture and photography.
With all of Carlie’s highly diverse experience paired with her hard work and artistic background, she is a great asset as a Visual Merchandiser for Displays by Angela.
Alyssa is a highly experienced and passionate Graphic Designer who excels in her field.
She completed a Bachelor of Graphic Design in 2013 at University of Canberra. Along with her study of Graphic Design she also participated in achieving a minor of Media Art and design. Going straight into her field of passion Alyssa has been working as a graphic designer for over 7 years, earning experience in various fields such as print, digital and social media.
Alyssa specializes in providing unique design solutions and prides herself on exceeding her client’s expectations within their budget and producing high quality design materials within the Canberra region.
